FENLAND and East Cambridgeshire employees of Cambridgeshire County Council have been recognised for their long service.

Two members of staff, each of whom has worked for the authority for 25 years or more, were presented with long service awards by County Council Chairman John Powley.

They were joined by a further 18 employees from elsewhere in the county for the ceremony at Shire Hall in Cambridge.

Beverley Bish joined the Council in 1987 and works in the authority’s offices at Hereward Hall in March as a Business Support Officer to the Learning Disabilities Team.

Helen Fosbueary is the Business Support Manager for the East Cambs and Fenland Learning and Disability Partnership, supporting adult day centres and respite units in March and Ely.

Cllr Powley said: “Everyone receiving awards did so because of the outstanding contribution they have made to Cambridgeshire County Council and the many services it provides. I am delighted their loyal service and
dedication has been recognised and I am very pleased to be a part of that. Congratulations to them all.”
