Doddington Village Football Club has received a £600 boost from TalkTalk, a home phone and broadband provider. The club will be sponsored by TalkTalk for the next 12 months and the money will be used to buy new training equipment.
TalkTalk has also announced a £50,000 investment for residents in Doddington and Wimblington with the expansion of its Next Generation Network to provide access to better value and more secure broadband. Paula Boorman from Doddington Village Football Club said: “We are very pleased that TalkTalk has chosen to support Doddington Village Football Club. The donation will be used to buy new training equipment
which will benefit all who play at the club.”
Tristia Clarke, commercial director at TalkTalk, said the company is delighted to be supporting sport at grass roots level.
“Doddington Village Football Club is a fantastic example of a local club engaging and enthusing the next generation to enjoy sport.
“We wish them every success with future endeavours,” she said.
