A NEW range of support tights is being launched today (Thursday) that could give women a rear like Pippa Middleton.
The range of bottom support tights will be on shop shelves in 99p Stores nationwide, including the one at Wisbech.
“They are the ultimate bottom support,” pledges 99p Stores boss Hussein Lalani.
Mr Lalani says the ‘Tum and Bum’ tights have extra elastic around the bottom to mould even ample behinds into great shape.
They come in one standard fit size and assorted different colours, including nude and black. Traditional ‘nude’ - invisible tights – are apparently favoured by the Duchess of Cambridge.
Mr Lalani said “near identical” products are on sale around £3 to £5 at traditional High Street stores.
“Our company has trebled in size in three years for the very reasons that these new ‘bum and tum’ tights are being launched,” he added. “We aim to produce jaw dropping value for our two million family of 99p shoppers, the majority being women.
“And what our customers want we supply where we can. These tights have been top of wish lists for the last few months. We know because we conduct constant research.”
The chain will be opening masses of new stores up and down the UK and in Ireland over the next few months as it continues to expand at a relentless pace.
A little over a decade ago 99p Stores was a one-man band. Now it is a national brand.
Mr Lalani said: “Britons’ thirst for value has become unquenchable with the value genie now well and truly out of the bottle.
“When times get better, demanding value will have become an integral part of the daily shopping habit of Britons’. That will be one of the better things, if not the only thing, to have come out of this recession.”
