Local people are being invited to help name the bar at a new complex at Tydd St Giles Golf and Leisure Estate.

The estate is opening a £2 million building, which will include a new coffee lounge and wine bar, in January and is asking for name suggestions.

Adrian Hurst, managing director of Tydd St Giles Golf and Leisure Estate, said: “We thought asking people to join in with naming the bar would be a great way for our customers past and present to get involved.

“Perhaps people would like to name the bar after a local landmark or personality or even after a family member who is a regular visitor. All ideas are welcome.”

Anyone wishing to suggest a name should email adrian.hurst@pureleisuregroup.com or post their entries to Jodie Hurst, Tydd St Giles Golf & Leisure Estate, Kirkgate, Tydd St Giles, Near Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, PE13 5NZ by 5pm on Tuesday, January 1.

The winning name will be chosen by Adrian and his colleagues. The winner will be invited to the official opening ceremony of the new leisure complex in January to help cut a ribbon to declare the bar open.

The complex will feature a heated indoor pool with a coco jet machine, which controls the water current, steam room and sauna, as well as a fully air-conditioned fitness suite.

It has also created a further 18 jobs.
