A consultation is running on the assisted transport needs of vulnerable adults.

Cambridgeshire County Council has drafted a policy for providing adult social care transport to help assessors decide whether transport can be provided as part of a care package.

But officers need to know how transport services in Cambridgeshire are helping vulnerable adults maintain a healthy, independent life.

The consultation runs until March 12. A report detailing the outcome of the consultation will be discussed at the council’s Adults Committee on May 26, with the intention of implementing the policy on June 1.

The questionnaire can be found on www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/site/custom_scripts/cons_details.aspx?ref=240
