Cambridgeshire roads get the special treatment

With winter fast approaching, Cambridgeshire County Council's highways team have been hard at work preparing roads for the colder weather.

The council’s £1.8million micro-asphalt programme will see just under 70 roads treated with micro-asphalt, with 35 roads, including Elliott Road in March, Westfield Road in Ramsey and All Saints Green in St Ives, already completed.

The first micro-asphalt scheme this year was completed on September 20 on Otago Close, Whittlesey.
