Car fire Sixteen Foot Drain

This morning (Thursday) at 8.34am, one crew from March was called to a car fire near Boots Bridge, on the Sixteen Foot.

Crews arrived to find a car on fire following a road traffic collision.

All parties were out of their vehicles on arrival.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

One casualty was treated by the ambulance service.

The crew returned to their station by 10.10am.
