Car hits Whittlesey house in poor weather

A car left the road and hit a house in Whittlesey last night, Sunday June 12.

Police were called at just gone 7.30pm with reports of a collision in Drybread Road, Whittlesey.

A blue Vauxhall Corsa left the road, went through a brick wall and collided with a house.

The driver, a man in his 30s, was uninjured, nor was the occupant of the house who is an elderly woman.

A police spokesman said: “This is a harsh warning of how road conditions can change with the weather, please always remember to drive to arrive.”
