Driver has vehicle seized by police in Whittlesey

A vehicle has been seized after being driven illegally through a town.

Officers from Fenland’s Road Policing Unit stopped a Nissan Micra in Whittlesey yesterday.

Checks revealed the car had no tax and the driver did not have a full licence.

A police spokesperson urged people driving a car for business purposes to make sure it has the appropriate insurance and a licence.

The driver in this case was reported and the vehicle seized.
