Police seize car in Wisbech after driver caught on phone and without insurance




A car in town has been seized for being driven illegally.

While officers were on patrol in Wisbech, a car in Kestrel Drive was stopped as the driver was using their mobile phone.

The car was seized and after police officers did checks on their systems and it was revealed that the vehicle was not insured.

A spokesperson for Fenland Police said: “Using a mobile phone or handheld device while driving is an offence and can also be considered as dangerous or careless driving.”
