Two people taken to hospital after two-vehicle crash on Weasenham Lane in Wisbech




Emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash yesterday afternoon.

Officers from the Wisbech Neighbourhood Policing and Fenland response team were sent to the collision involving two vehicles on Weasenham Lane in Wisbech at 4.25pm.

Appliances from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, Wisbech, March, and Norfolk, along with the East of England Ambulance Service, attended the scene.

Ambulance and fire crews helped remove the driver of one vehicle.

Two people involved in the crash were taken to hospital with slight injuries.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and reopened once the vehicles had been recovered.
