Casualty rescued from ditch after crash between car and motorbike on A141 near Chatteris




A motorcyclist was rescued from a ditch after a crash on the A141 near Chatteris on Friday.

The accident happened at around 4.25pm and the ambulance service and fire crews from Chatteris and Manea were called to the scene.

They arrived to find a collision involving a car and a motorcycle and used specialist equipment to rescue a man from a ditch.

An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle, critical care paramedic vehicle and a response car from the East Anglian Air Ambulance were involved in the incident.

The motorcyclist, an adult man, was transported by road to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for further treatment.”
