Cavalry School pupils win March Lions Peace Poster awards

March Lions Club member John Potter visited the town's Cavalry Primary School on Wednesday to award certificates and prizes to the winners of the Y6 International Peace Poster competition.

Children from all over the world are given the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity as part of the competition run by the International Lions.

CavalryYear 6 girls, Uliana, who won first prize, Emilia's poster was chosen for second prize and third place winner Gabriella were awarded with certificates and prizes during a special achievement assembly.
