Celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day

CELEBRATE International Dawn Chorus Day at Natural England’s Dersingham Bog National Nature Reserve.

An event on Sunday, May 6 will offer an opportunity to experience the magical moment when nature’s own orchestra starts to play its own special song. The reserve’s warden will be available to help you identify the different bird songs and calls.

Dawn chorus will begin at 4.30 am and participants will meet at the main car park on Dersingham Bog NNR, Wolferton, King’s Lynn, PE31 7QA

The event is free and suitable for adults and children, although there are only spaces for 10 children. Suitable for children from 8 years and up.

All equipment will be provided and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable clothing and shoes. Should the weather be bad on the day, this activity will be cancelled.
