Work is progressing well at Centenary Green where, on the corner of South Brink and Somers Road in Wisbech, the new public open space is being created.

The community project which commemorates the centenary of the death of Octavia Hill, is costing over £200,000 and is being entirely funded by the generous donations of local organisations, businesses and individual donations.

The project is expected to be completed in April and will be then be opened to the public by Octavia Hill’s Birthplace House.
