HAVE you got a heritage project in mind that needs some cash?

Jonathan Latchford, development officer from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), is on the lookout for more Fenland projects that would benefit from one of its grants.

He will be at the Wisbech Town Council Chamber on North Brink on Thursday, 10.30am-2.30pm, to discuss anyone’s ideas. He is also planning to visit Whittlesey on July 26.

He said: “Fenland is an area rich in history and traditions and we are always looking for new projects that give people the chance to explore and celebrate their heritage.

“Heritage isn’t just about historic buildings. As the Young Curators Forum project shows, it also includes people’s memories and experiences or the histories of their particular communities. So if you’ve got something you think might qualify for a grant, come and have a chat.”
