THE Hereward Concert Band performs its second annual concert on Saturday (September 10), raising money for two charities - Help for Heroes and the Paul Caller Appeal.
Help for Heroes is a charity formed to help provide better facilities for servicemen and women.
Mr Caller was a former head of music at March’s Neale-Wade Community College and after his death, a fund was set up by the school in his memory to pay for music tuition for three students each year.
The 40-piece Hereward Concert Band will comprise past and present students, local professional musicians and ex-military personnel.
The programme will include music from stage and films and classical pieces.
The concert is at the Neale-Wade College in Wimblington Road. Tickets on the door cost £5 for adults and £3 for students/children.
