Charity events going on in the Horsefair

THERE are still a few pitches left for a charity car boot sale in the Horsefair car park in Wisbech on Bank Holiday Monday.

The top floor will be opened up for the sale, which is raising funds for Help for Heroes. Cars will be charged £5 and a car with a trailer will be £10.

Book your space at the Kodak store or at the Centre Manager’s office, which are next to each other on the Horsefair bus station, or by telephoning the Centre Manager on 01945-584109.

The event will run from 8am to 1pm and there will be unrestricted parking on the ground floor all day.

The Horsefair’s O2 store will also be doing some charity fundraising for Meadowgate School as part of the phone chain’s Think Big campaign.

Six members of the store’s team will be riding an exercise bike for 24 hours during opening times to help raise cash between Thursday, May 10 and Saturday, May 12. There will also be a raffle in the run up to the event.

Local Miss England candidate Olivia Landin will be getting involved on the Saturday.
