Choir singing for future

A LOCAL choir is planning a big fundraiser to secure its future.

Breakout Outreach Choir, based in Wisbech, loses its funding in March and is desperately trying to raise as much money as possible so it can continue.

A sponsored ‘singathon’ has been organised for February 23 and will see members from all four sections of the choir singing for more than three hours.

To make the event as fun as possible, each section will be dressed in costumes.

New members are sought in all sections. The choir is open to anyone, from four years to 104 years. Children aged four to seven are particularly sought after. Anyone interested should call choir director Charlotte Hill on 07525-462757.

If you would like to sponsor the singers, donations can be brought into the Citizen office at 11 Union Street, Wisbech or contact Charlotte.
