Coffee morning heralds Spring and raises cash for St Mary's Church in March

St Mary’s Church at Westry in March held a successful Pre-Spring Coffee Morning on Saturday.

A sure sign that Spring is ‘just around the corner’ was heralded by the annual fundraising event organised by the friends and congregation of the church and was held in the Scout Hall in Mill View.

With delicious homemade cakes, tasty hot drinks, and other tasty treats on offer, there was ample opportunity to browse the sales of work, collectables, and bric a brac, on offer.

With something for everyone, young and old alike, as well as convivial company, it is anticipated a good amount was raised towards the overall running and upkeep of St Mary's.
