Enjoy Valentine’s Day with a romantic concert by candlelight in the stunning setting of the Lady Chapel at Ely Cathedral.

Talented pianist Warren Mailley-Smith will perform a recital, with special performances by the Billroth string quartet and international operatic soprano Susan Parkes.

The Citizen has a pair of tickets to give away to this performance, taking place on Saturday, February 16 at 7.30pm.

Mozart - Piano Concerto K414 (with piano string quartet)

Bizet - Habenera, from Carmen (with guest soprano, Susan Parkes)

Puccini - Arias from La Boheme and Madame Butterfly (with guest soprano, Susan Parkes)

Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata

Chopin - Ballade No 1

Schubert - Impromptu No 3

Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue

This will be the fourth consecutive year that British concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith has given a recital at Ely Cathedral to mark Valentine’s Day. Previous years have seen huge audiences filling the walls of this spectacular building with rapturous applause.
