Council offers chance to win tickets for Bill Wyman

CELEBRATE apples and Stones in the history and cultural heritage of Wisbech.

Win two tickets to see Bill Wyman’s Rhythmn Kings at King’s Lynn Corn Exchange on October 27 worth £65 (courtesy of CMP Entertainment).

The Rolling Stones played their first ballroom gig on July 20 1963 in the Wisbech Corn Exchange (perhaps you were there?).

Built in 1811, the Corn Exchange is celebrating its 200 anniversary at the heart of Wisbech life.

This concert tour sees the Rhythm Kings play the classic rhythm and blues that first inspired Wyman to pick up the guitar as a teenager.

Mary Wilson, legendary star of the original Supremes, will join Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings, as a special guest on their UK tour.

The raffle in aid of the Wisbech Mayor’s Charities will be held on October 22 in Wisbech Market Place – come to the Apple Day stall.

So why not go along and support the Mayor’s Charities, Apple Day and Wisbech, and maybe even win yourself the star prize. Raffle will be drawn at 3.30pm at the stall.
