Crash driver was four and half times over the drink drive limit
A driver involved in a crash at Guyhirn last night (Thursday) was almost four and a half times over the limit.
A police spokesperson said they were called just before 8.30pm to a collision at Guyhirn near the Shell garage, fortunately there were no injuries.
Motoriest Ryan Wagg, 34, of Beechwood Road, Wisbech, gave a reading of 157mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath - the legal limit is 35mg.
The spokesperson said he has since been charged with drink driving, driving without insurance, and careless driving.
He was bailed to attend Peterborough Magistrates' court on October 15.
His arrest brings the number of drink drivers caught by the area’s police so far this year to 392.
