Cannabis plants seized in Outwell raid

A 24-year-old man has been arrested after police seized cannabis plants during a raid in Outwell.

Officers searched a property in Basin Road on Thursday 3 October and recovered 49 cannabis plants found growing at the address.

Police arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of cannabis production. He was questioned at King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre and released on bail until December while enquiries continue.

King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Policing Commander Superintendent Carl Edwards said: “We welcome any information on illegal drug activity and will always follow up any leads whether given to us directly or through Crimestoppers.”
