POLICE are appealing for information after a car was stolen from a lay by on the A47.
The owner had left the grey Ford Focus C-Max after it had started to overheat close to Elm at 10.30am on Thursday September 15.
However, when they returned to collect the vehicle at 1.45pm, it had been stolen.
PC Kelly Manchett, investigating, said: “The owner had only had the vehicle for a few weeks before it was stolen.
“The vehicle was left by a very busy stretch of road and I’m sure someone will have seen what happened.”
Anyone with any information should call PC Manchett on 0345 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
