POLICE are appealing for information after diesel was stolen from schools in Wisbech.
Offenders broke into secured sheds overnight on Tuesday (April 17) and siphoned large quantities of diesel from tanks.
The thefts took place at Murrow Primary School between 4pm on April 17 and 7.30am on April 18.
The second happened at Guyhirn Primary School, High Road, between 5pm on April 17 and 10am on April 18.
Detective Constable Andy Rudd, investigating, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about these thefts.
“I am particularly looking for anyone who may have seen a silver estate vehicle acting suspiciously in the area.”
