The funeral of murder victim Una Crown is due to be held at 1pm on Monday February 25 at the Mintlyn Crematorium in King’s Lynn.
Funeral director Tony Clingo, of Upwell, who is a relative of 86 year-old Mrs Crown, is dealing with the arrangements.
The brutal nature of the Wisbech pensioner’s murder shocked both the community and police who have been trying to track down her killer.
A man was arrested a few weeks ago on suspicion of her murder but was subsequently released on bail until April 2.
Mrs Crown was stabbed in the chest and neck and her clothing was set alight in what detectives believe was an attempt to disguise her injuries and destroy evidence.
Last month Independent charity Crimestoppers put up a £10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Mrs Crown’s killer/killers.
Mrs Crown’s body was discovered at her Magazine Lane bungalow home on January 13. She was last seen alive on the morning of January 11 but had spoken to a friend by telephone on the Saturday.
Mrs Crown and her husband Jack, known as Ron, used to run Elm post office several years ago. Jack died in 2009.
