Leading is stolen

POLICE are appealing for information after lead flashing was stolen in Guyhirn.

The thefts occurred between Sunday, June 5, and Thursday (June 9) at the Community Centre and a house in High Road.

Lead was taken from the centre roof, while 8ft x 3ft lead flashing was stolen from above a bay window of the house.

PCSO Sue Clarke, from Wisbech Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “It is important that residents keep their eyes and ears open and report any suspicious behaviour around public buildings such as community centres. It is highly likely the offenders are using a car to take the lead away, anyone with information should contact us at Wisbech Police Station.”
