Opportunity for Whittlesey residents

Residents of Whittlesey are being invited to air their views at a neighbourhood forum.

Members of the district policing team will be available in the Market Place from noon on September 11 to talk about priorities for the next six months and any concerns residents may have.

Officers will also be available in the council office in Grosvenor Road between 6pm and 7pm and then in the council meeting at 7.30pm.

Alternatively, people can raise concerns by visiting Whittlesey Police Station on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, between 9am and 5pm, or completing a questionnaire at http://whittlesey.shapeyourplace.org/neighbourhood-forum-questionnaire/

Residents are also encouraged to find out more about policing in the town by visiting a new Facebook page at www.facebook.com/fencops.whittleseyteam

PCSO Ian Moll said: “This is an excellent opportunity for people to come and meet their local policing team and also raise any issues or concerns they have about their neighbourhood.

“This is the public’s chance to speak to us in an informal way and we will listen to all their views and take action with partners agencies if necessary.”
