Warning after drugs stolen

POLICE are issuing a warning after a large quantity of drugs were stolen from a commercial premises in Wisbech (which does not want to be identified).

The drugs were stolen in a burglary which took place between 7.40pm on Tuesday, February 15 and 8.15am on Wednesday, February 16. Several thousand pounds in cash was also stolen from a safe inside the premises.

DC Tony Harlow at Wisbech Police Station said: “These Phenobarbitone tablets tablets can be dangerous if taken in large quantities.

“The tablets are white with no markings, if you come across them please hand them into your nearest police station.”
