Visitors to the New Bigger Antique & Collectors Fair at Springfield’s event centre this month will have the added pleasure of meeting 60s performer and recording artist Dave Berry.
Readers may be surprised to know that Dave has had a keen interest in Antiques since the mid 1990s and when not touring enjoys attending fairs across the country buying and selling memorabilia, decorative items and furniture.
“I’m really looking forward to exhibiting at this great new venue,” said Dave. “I have plenty of friends in the trade and it’s great to revisit towns where I have played in the past – why not visit, pop by and say hello.”
Dave Berry’s recently published biography (signed) will also be available to purchase on the day.
In addition visitors will have the opportunity to meet Lincolnshire author (and deco specialist) Neville Drury who will also be promoting his newly published book “The last role of the dice”, a fascinating novel spanning the 20th century during which a veteran RAF pilot relives his life, love and wartime service in which he was guided by the roll of his dice to uncover a secret that has lain hidden for 60 years.
The fair is on September 22 at Springfield’s event centre Spalding and is now twice the size, holding 100 stalls with a number of leading UK dealers selling Deco Lighting and furnishings, continental/decorative pieces, antiques, Fine and costume jewellery, vintage/collectable homewares and retro memorabilia.
Admission is £1.50 from 10am until 4pm with on-site catering and free parking.
