Director of Swann Edwards Architecture in Guyhirn wins businessperson of the year

It came as a total surprise to James Burton that he was named as business person of the year for Fenland.

The director of Swann Edwards Architecture based in Guyhirn scooped up the award at this year’s Fenland Citizen Business Awards on Friday.

James has been at the firm since 2011 and has been working in the industry since he was 16 years old.

He said: “Its a lovely place to work with good people, it’s nice and everybody really gets on.”

As he walked up to the stage to receive his award, James was cheered on by his colleagues at Swann Edwards.

He was up against Holly Jean from Inkley Design and Print and Lauren Siddon from Lauren & Co at Be Fabulous.The category was sponsored by Mapus-Smith and Lemmon LLP.
