Doddington farmer turns 100
A Doddington farmer is reaping the rewards of healthy living by reaching the age of 100.
Arthur Bradshaw, pictured above, celebrated his milestone birthday with a family party at Clovelly House, March. He was born in Doddington on September 18, 1915, and attended the village school until the age 13. Mr Bradshaw started off as a horseman, with great flair for training young horses, before running his own farm. He was married to Hilda for 73 years. They had two children, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Healthy living and exercise have been the secret of Mr Bradshaw’s long life. Picture: MFCP15AF09216
