Lynn firefighters came to the rescue of a dog which got into trouble in a pond.

A Springer Spaniel slipped the lead and ended up in the water behind South Lynn pumping station on Horsley’s Field Industrial Estate yesterday afternoon (Thursday, March 10).

Crews from the South Lynn station used lines and ladders to rescue the dog before it was reunited with its owner.

Both warmed up at the station before being driven to the vets.
