Politics students have organised a Question Time style debate ahead of the referendum on the European Union.

Cameron Leitch and other sixth form students at Downham Academy want the town to be informed on the issues.

The debate will be held in Downham Town Hall on Tuesday from 7pm.

The panel will include Paul Smyth (UKIP), Jacqueline Westrop (Ind), Lesley Grahame (Green), Josie Ratcliffe (Lib Dem) and Sheila Hutson (Con). Regional Organiser of the Europea n Movement, David Grace, and Norfolk’s High Sherriff Nick Pratt will also be taking part.

Cameron said: “We want people to be informed. This is a good chance for people to know what local politicians think of the referendum and give information.”
