People of all ages kicked up their heels to freewheel their way down March’s Norwood Road bridge during an annual cycle challenge.
March Veteran and Vintage Cycle Club put on their popular Downhill Challenge on Sunday.
Bikes, ranging from 1913 to modern cycles, bombed their way down the bridge.
This year also included a 12-year-old boy taking part in the challenge. Maureen Goode, riding a 1913 Ladies Rover, won the women’s challenge and took home the Tom Young Trophy.
While Colin Bedford won the men’s section on board a 1950s Hercules.
Cyclists also enjoyed a five-mile ride before enjoying a lunch at the March Conservative Club.
Mr Bedford said: “It went very well and we did not have one puncture.”
