Dozens of pupils from Fenland school told to self-isolate

Dozens of pupils from a Fenland secondary school have been told to isolate following a new coronavirus case on Wednesday (25).

Officials from the Marshland High School in West Walton say they received confirmation that a Year 10 student has tested positive, having displayed symptoms and undergone a test away from the site.

Fifty other Year 10 students, plus what the school describes as a “small number” of pupils from two other year groups, were sent home during the afternoon, following Public Health England advice.
