Driver cut from car after bungalow smash in March

LEARN MOREA driver had to be cut from his car after it careered into a bungalow in March last night (Friday).
Officers from the Special Constabulary supported by the Fenland Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the single vehicle crash at Fleming Court. It is understood the occupants of the bungalow escaped unharmed but the driver was taken to Peterborough City Hospital.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers worked alongside Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue, East of England Ambulance Service and MAGPAS at the scene.
"The driver of the vehicle was freed by the Fire Service and they were taken to hospital by land Ambulance.
"The vehicle was recovered at the scene and enquiries are ongoing into this collision."
