Driver injured in serious collision at Outwell

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious injury road traffic collision in Outwell.

At around 11.50am on Tuesday morning, a gold Jeep and a silver Ford Ka were in collision on the A1101. The driver of the Ford suffered leg and chest injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

The road was reopened at 4.20pm.

Officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision or anyone who saw the manner of driving of the vehicles beforehand. The Jeep was travelling towards Wisbech and the Ford was travelling towards Downham Market.
