Landlords will be able to have their say on plans to introduce a selective licensing scheme.

Fenland District Council is looking to introduce the scheme across seven wards in Wisbech in a bid to improve housing conditions and stamp out rogue landlords.

An extra drop-in session has been organised for landlords at the Boathouse, 1 Harbour Square, Nene Parade, today (Wednesday, May 4) from 3-7pm.

It is part of the 10-week public consultation that comes to an end on May 8.

Three previous events have been held specifically for landlords.

Two other events are being held to give local people a chance to find out more about the proposed scheme and comment on it.

Another drop-in session will be held at the Rosmini Centre on Friday, May 6, 10am-2pm.

Paper copies of the survey form are being made available at the various events and in the Fenland @ your service shop in Wisbech.
