AN ambitious new scheme is being launched to improve the skills and job prospects of young people and help employers identify new talent.
Fenland Enterprise in Education (FEE) will bring businesses and schools together to provide a range of activities to prepare youngsters for work.
The aim is to help students develop the necessary workplace skills and career aspirations, while allowing employers to have a larger pool of young people with the required knowledge and experience relevant to their business.
The project is being led by Katie Hart who will be responsible for helping to build close relationships between businesses and schools or colleges throughout Fenland.
The event is on March 13 at The Boathouse Business Centre in Wisbech from 8.45am to 2pm. Attendance at the event is free with advanced booking required. The number to call is 01733-370809.
