Pictures of the Fenland landscape feature alongside aspects of New York and Italy in a new book that has been put together by an Emneth photographer.
Dan Donovan, 54, shows off his appreciation for aesthetics and juxtaposition in his new book, which is called My Eye.
The book was launched during an event at the Angles Theatre, in Wisbech.
Mr Donovan, who has also photographed popular band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, said: “I am really pleased with the book.
“It’s nice to make a collection available for people to buy rather than sharing pictures on Facebook and websites.
“ I don’t think you can beat a physical collection of photographs.”
Mr Donovan’s background in art and design allows him to bring a unique sense of perspective and style to his photographs.
He said: “I have an interest in abstract qualities and juxtapositions, manufactured and organic lines that make emotive gestures.
“As I look around I see intriguing composition constantly and I’m compelled to capture what I see, expressing how I see it.”
The book features photographs taken between 2004 and 2011 after Mr Donovan embraced digital photography.
Pictures from Fenland, New York, Portugal and Italy all feature within this photographic journal.
My Eye is priced at £13 and is available from Mr Donovan’s website www.dandonovan.co.uk/MYEYE/
