Anglian Water customers are being given another two weeks to have their say on how the company spends their money.
In January the utility launch its biggest ever customer consultation. Called Discover, Discuss, Decide, it asks people how they think Anglian Water should keep bills fair and affordable while tackling challenges like population growth and climate change.
A tour of towns and cities across the region has prompted a huge response and the company has now decided to keep the consultation running for another fortnight.
Martyn Oakley, Anglian Water’s Customer Services Director, said: “The consultation was due to close at the end of this week, but the number of customers taking part is still high and its clear that many more want to have their say.
“We want to make sure they all get the chance, so we’ve decided to keep the consultation open until March 24th.”
He added: “What our customers tell us really will influence our investment plans and the size of bills over the next five years. The more opinions we can get the more weight they will carry with our regulator.”
He added: “Thousands of people have already made their opinion count using the online consultation and at stands across town centres. But these are big issues that affect all of us and we want as many people as possible to join the discussion and help shape the region’s future.”
