Evacuees stories told at Chatteris
Chatteris Museum is telling the story of young evacuees’ experiences during the Second World War with the launch of a new exhibition.
The Church Lane museum opened its Heritage Lottery-funded Home from Home Exhibition on Saturday. The exhibition, organised by local children with support from the Royal British Legion and 20Twenty Productions, will include recorded interviews from the time. It will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2pm to 4.30pm and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm until Saturday, February 13. • Photo: MFCP16AF01229
