SOME exciting events are taking place at the Oasis Community & Children’s Centre in Wisbech.

They kick off on Saturday, October 29, with an annual Free Family Fun Day and as it is nearly Halloween, they are using it as their theme.

The event starts at 10am and will go on until 2pm. There will be activities to suit everyone’s needs and abilities.

You will be able to make some things to take home, such as table centre pieces, decorate cupcakes, wand making, Halloween signs and much more.

This day has been funded through Family Learning, CCC and run by Wisbech Community Development Trust (who are a charity and run the Oasis Community Centre), with support from C&PL Trust and FDC.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Wisbech Community Development Trust will be holding its annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, November 9 at 11am, at the Oasis Community & Children’s Centre. Everyone is welcome.

On Saturday, December 3, it is the Oasis Centre’s annual panto, performed by the professional company, Chaplins.

This year will be ‘A Christmas Carol’, which is actually a musical.

Tickets are now on sale, £5 for adults, £4 for OAPs and £3 for children. Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

If you would like to find out more about what is happening at the Centre, then feel free to pop in or phone Cherry or Jenna on 01945-461526.
