The Piper-Heidsieck July Festival – running from Thursday, July 12 to Saturday, July 14 at Newmarket Racecourses – is the region’s most stylish summer event, with visitors donning their finest clothes to complement and enhance the unique garden party atmosphere. And the best dressed can win an array of fantastic prizes in ‘Fashion at the Festival’.

The racing is top class every day, with the peaks coming on day two (Friday) and day three (Saturday), when the biggest races are staged.
Thursday is Goldsmiths Ladies’ Day, when the Princess of Wales’s Goldsmiths Stakes is the feature race.
Abu Dhabi Day on Friday features the Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes, run over a mile and one of the season’s top races for three-year-old fillies and their elders.
The day also features the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Cherry Hinton Stakes, a key race for two-year-old fillies, and the Abu Dhabi Harwood International Arabian Racing Stakes, one of the most important races for purebred Arabian horses.
Saturday takes the excitement up one final notch with the running of the Festival’s glittering centrepiece, the Darley July Cup.
