Fenland festival brings cider into spotlight

Cider lovers will be in their element as a 17-day festival sweeps across Fenland, bringing a range of draught craft ciders from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Various pubs in March and Wisbech will be taking part in the event from this Friday until July 24.

The pubs will serve 15 ciders, including some not previously available and others produced exclusively for the festival, from as little as £2.89 a pint.

One of the ciders, Cidre Normandie, has been made by a visiting French cider maker from Normandy in collaboration with an English cider maker.
