It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Fenland this weekend with a host of festive events.

On Saturday, the streets of Doddington sparkled when its Christmas lights were switched on. Villagers turned out to support the event, made possible once again thanks to the fundraising efforts of Doddington Christmas Lights Committee. On Sunday, thousands of people turned out for the hugely popular March Christmas Fair. Mayor Rob Skoulding opened it at 10am, shortly before the Santa Run kicked off at George’s.
