People of all ages and abilities will be able to experience playing in an orchestra thanks to a music charity.

Fenland Music Centre Association (FMCA) is launching the new venue for musicians of all ages to experience orchestral music.

The music charity, which will soon be celebrating its 50th anniversary, will be returning to March Community Centre from this autumn leading up to a Christmas concert.

Starting Friday, September 19, at 6.30pm, there will be the opportunity to join a training orchestra for beginners up to Grade 4. Additionally for musicians from Grade 4 upwards, there will be a Community Orchestra from 7.30pm on the same evening.

To help introduce both young and old to orchestral playing, Cambridgeshire approved Conductors will be working with FMCA members to provide mentoring and support. There will also be light refreshments available and a tuck shop.
