Some Fenland train services are being disrupted this morning following an incident in the West Midlands yesterday.

Journeys between March and Stansted Airport, on the CrossCountry route from Birmingham, are being delayed as a result of a train derailment between Nuneaton and Coleshill Parkway.

The 7.31 departure to Stansted is currently running 15 minutes late, while the 8.34 service is also delayed.

No services are running between Nuneaton and Birmingham. Although some trains are being diverted from Leicester, passengers are being warned to expect longer journeys as a result.

Officials say the disruption is likely to continue until the end of service tomorrow.
